This episode is with 7x NFR qualifying barrel racer, futurity
trainer, model, and mom, Angie Meadors. Angie qualified for her
first National Finals when she was just 14 in 1990. She made 5 more
trips in the ’90’s and 2 more in 2010-11. She also started her
modeling career in that same year (1990) and has done that ever
since. You’ve seen her in MANY ads for Wrangler, Cowgirl Tuff, and
others over the years. Smoke show! She’s trained some of the greats
and has had success at every level of the sport. She’s a clinician
and has had success teaching the sport as well. She is without a
doubt one of the most successful barrel racers to ever compete in
the sport.
A few years ago, Angie, who’s married to 2x PRCA World Champion
Heeler, Kolin Van Ahn, gave birth to her daughter. Now as a mother,
her life is forever changed and this has obviously carried into her
careers. We discuss this and so much more in this really fun
